A Bit About Us

[fusion_dropcap color=”” boxed=”yes” boxed_radius=”50%” class=”” id=””]M[/fusion_dropcap]onZah Films is version 2.0 of the original company that was founded by Kirk and Jeff.

Initially, the company known as MVP Video Production would produce all things video related. Whether that be :15 second commercials or long form videos for our corporate clients.

Over time we realized that what we really enjoyed doing more than anything, is telling stories in a longer form. We came to this understanding of why we really started our own business after the flood of 2008 here in Cedar Rapids. It was during this time, and the year that followed, that we produced and released our first full length documentary, Resilience; the Spirit of Humanity.

The principle partners have stayed the same, the logo has stayed the same, our Focus has changed to telling stories.

Kirk is a 25 year veteran of commercial production and film making. He has worked coast to coast with national clients and Fortune 100 Companies to produce commercials, documentaries, Ethnographies and reality programming. His skill behind the camera and in the edit suite has been recognized with National and International awards.
