The Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines wanted to highlight the strength of community banks and how they are the backbone of many communities. While the banking crisis has made a lot of people weary of large banks, and their practices. The community banks have continued to grow, by being that financial back-bone of the areas they serve.

They continue to lend money, help farmers, small businesses, and be a strong corporate steward of the community. This story showcases the roles that community banks play in all of our communities.

This story was eventually sent to congress with all law makers receiving a DVD of this story,
