The flood of 2008 in Cedar Rapids, IA. had many devastating effects on the city. The city of Cedar Rapids is served by two Hospitals. Both fairly equal in size. However, the flood disabled one of those hospitals, Mercy Medical Center.

The hospital took on water that was un-precedented and completely unexpected. Mercy Medical Center had to evacuate the entire hospital in the middle of the night, when power was finally lost, and disperse their patients across the state to other facilities.

This documentary documents that process, with never before seen footage from inside the hospital during the evacuation, and the drive and push to bring the hospital back to full operation in 100 days. What it took, how the hospital transformed, and the employees of Mercy Medical Center changed their outlook to get back to serving their community.
